The current activities of the People Management Centre allow for an open exchange of the latest HR knowledge between academics, practitioners, management students and PhDs, and society at large.
How the People Management Centre is creating a thriving HR network:
- Quarterly roundtables offer alumni, current students, the Advisory Board and their representatives or staff and researchers to come together and discuss the latest issues and ideas in HR, from ageing to ‘flexicurity’;
- Workplace discussions are smaller and more focused. Several times a year each workplace gets together to discuss their research; occasionally all three workplace groups meet to take advantage of broader insights into current HR issues;
- Strategic and applied research results in white papers and other publications;
- People Management Centre research is channelled through top HR management education programmes, such as the Advanced Human Resource Programme.
- Relationship with partner organisations results in company visits, company research, and recruitment possibilities for TiasNimbas and Tilburg University students;
- People Management Centre partner organisations receive a 10% discount on the Advanced Human Resource Programme programme.
