In this second edition of the Zuid-As Executive Pit-Stop Seminar Series all seminars will revolve around the theme of "Leadership, Responsibility & Change".

Lecture of Prof. Veronica Hope Hailey on "Leading Change: How to succeed"

Downsizing, rightsizing. Mergers, acquisitions. Reorganisations. They don’t always bring what we hope and work so hard for. You create a compelling vision, a clear mission, with ambitious yet realistic milestones to get there. Yet, along the way you find that this crucial E-factor is slowing things down. Yes, your Employees...

But why? In this seminar Professor Veronica Hope Hailey of Cass Business School will analyse that E-factor with you. In particular she will discuss: how to create readiness for change; how to understand and influence organisational climate; and how to leverage the positive power of middle managers, the true focal point of any change initiative that seriously wants to succeed.

Veronica Hope Hailey is Professor of Strategic Human Resource Management at Cass Business School. She was previously a Professor at the University of Bath and at Cranfield School of Management in the UK, and a Fellow at the Judge Institute of Management at the University of Cambridge. Veronica specialises in working with large, mature corporations in collaborative research partnerships. She is particularly interested in exploring the challenges of corporate renewal and transformation. Her research focuses on the link between business strategy, HR strategy and change management. She has published in various academic journals and her book “Exploring Strategic Change” is already in 2nd edition. Veronica is the founding Director of the Change Management Consortium (2001 – present).

Fee for the seminar is € 95. Please feel free to bring a colleague at no extra charge. Just let us know in advance.
Cancellation withoud charges is possible until one week before the seminar.
