In an interactive format, Professor Erik van de Loo will explore workable answers to questions such as:
- How can we thrive and feel engaged in a world of work increasingly reigned by characteristics like speed, volatility, flexibility and virtuality?
- How can we create essential and elementary levels of stability, in order to be able to thrive on the waves of changes?
- How do we balance this with the human needs of wanting to feel acknowledged, appreciated, coached, supported in a networked world of work?
- How does this challenge traditional ways of understanding the role of leadership?
- And: how can we create sufficient and continuous reflective space in organizations?
Prof. Erik van de Loo is Professor of Leadership and Behaviour at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, adjunct-professor at INSEAD, and lecturer at NSOB and TiasNimbas. His main interests are leadership, entrepreneurship, family enterprises, team building and systemic work.
