We believe it is never too early to prepare for the right business school that fits your educational needs. That is why we review and consider applications on a rolling basis. Our goal in this admissions process is to indentify and enrol individuals with strong leadership potential who also will enhance the diversity in the classroom and can contribute in a positive way to their peer-group.

We seek candidates who have solid professional experience and demonstrate strong ethics and social responsibility. We encourage applicants to apply as soon as they feel they have their best application ready for submission.

The application deadline is 29 June 2014.

Non-EU students need to keep in mind that we need several weeks to arrange visa and housing applications. Therefore, non-EU students on our full-time programmes are strongly advised to submit their application as early as possible.

The Academic Curriculum

The Academic tier of our International MBA program starts by increasing your business expertise (Understanding), and introduces more complexity with a focus on interdependencies (Connecting). You then develop core leadership skills that will help propel your career (Leading), followed by diving deep into your particular areas of interest (Enhancing). Our ‘real-world experience’ component (Engaging) then provides you with an opportunity to put everything you have learned into action.

The Personal Curriculum

Your academic experience at TiasNimbas does not stand alone. Our International MBA program’s second tier recognizes the importance of personal development. Our Personal and Career Development Programme (PCDP) provides you with:

  • Personal coaching and a series of intense workshops during which you will take time for self-reflection, set goals, and build critical personal and team competencies;
  • One-on-one career coaching for the job market competencies and organisational contexts that will support your career ambitions and help you thrive;
  • Interaction with faculty and peers from different industries and nationalities in a highly interactive and intimate learning environment.

The Societal Curriculum

TiasNimbas’ International MBA’s third tier uses a holistic approach - you will see the bigger picture, deal with diversity and complexity, and understand the broader stakeholder management issues. It is a carefully designed aspect of the program that will help you engage stakeholders to achieve real impact while understanding the consequences and impact on society. The societal aspects of your development include:

  • ’Fireside Sessions’ with leading scientists in such fields as psychology and technology to gain awareness of the latest developments that are shaping the future of the world;
  • Meetings with business- and NGO-leaders. This is another critical element in shaping your competitive edge: their experiences, successes and failures give you insights into global ‘sustainable best business practices’;
  • Exchanges with opinion leaders in politics, sports, arts, media and entertainment that teach you about the larger world surrounding your future organisation, and broaden your views and perspectives. This allows you to make better judgments and more effective decisions.
