Students studying for an MBA complete their studies with a masters thesis known, at TiasNimbas, as the Management Project.
This thesis is based on a hands-on project within a company or organisation and reflects the knowledge and skills the students have obtained during their studies at TiasNimbas. The Management Project represents the major, applied, problem-solving element of the MBA programme and involves practical research. The student works on an issue or problem of direct concern to the company or organisation.
The research part of the project is carried out between June and August. The student submits a final report of between 12,500 and 15,000 words to TiasNimbas in mid-September for assessment. A company may also request the student to formally present his or her findings to the Board of Directors of the host company. TiasNimbas fully supports and encourages this additional service. We welcome projects from companies, non-governmental organisations, non-profit organisations, start-ups and other research institutes.
