Deloitte announces Best Managed Companies 2012
2 Jul 2012
For the fifth time the accountants company Deloitte organises the Best Managed Companies program in cooperation with VNO-NCW and TiasNimbas Business School. This year there are 72 companies that show excellent performance figures, despite the economic downturn. The key to this success appears to be a strong focus on innovation, which makes it easier for the companies to get through the crisis.
Even in industries that are under pressure, well-organised businesses stand out. Geert Desmet, adjunct Professor Strategic Marketing at TiasNimbas Business School: “This year a number of well-run companies in the logistics, travel or installation sector meet the criteria of, what we call, a Best Managed Company. We see that these companies go back to the core and reinvent with products, services or market segments.”
The Best Managed Companies program focuses on non-listed Dutch companies with an annual turnover of at least ten million euros and where the management has a partial share in the company. An overview of the list of winners is available at www.bestmanagedcompanies.nl.
