TiasNimbas Organises Seminar with Lucas Simons and Tex Gunning
On Tuesday, 7 February 2012, TiasNimbas Business School organises a seminar with a very topical issue, namely ‘new leadership’. Nowadays leaders don’t only lead their business, but also have to act more responsible in society. A clear definition for this new leadership cannot be given, but one can think of social leadership and ethical leadership.

TiasNimbas Student Lars Dinnissen Wins CoreNet Benelux Student Award 2011
Recently the CoreNet Benelux Student Award 2011 was awarded. CoreNet, one of the most important organisations for real estate professionals, awards the prize annually to the best thesis in the field of corporate real estate. From many entries, which were expertly judged on quality, innovation and practicality for the end user, Lars Dinnissen was chosen as winner. He completed the Master of Real Estate programme at TiasNimbas Business School.

Paul van Seters Editor of Handbook for Globalisation and Environmental Policy
Recently the second edition of A Handbook of Globalisation and Environmental Policy, a textbook in the field of globalisation and environmental policy, was published. The editors of this book are Frank Wijen, Kees Zoeteman, Jan Pieters and Paul van Seters, Professor of Globalisation and Sustainable Development at TiasNimbas Business School. The handbook is composed by contributions from over 40 authors, including some international opinion leaders.

Professor Eijffinger Speaks with Econtrack About the Future of the Euro Zone
The euro crisis has been difficult to avoid. This is suggested by Sylvester Eijffinger, Professor of Financial Economics at TiasNimbas Business School and member of the Monetary Experts Panel of the European Parliament. Professor Eijffinger was interviewed by the Dutch website Econtrack about the future of the European Union and the euro. According to him, the European Union has been in trouble since the foundation of the euro zone.
